Three numbers per mode
Assist level, Max Power and Max Torque for ECO, AUTO, TRAIL and TURBO — sized on your weight, cadence and power. Type them into the DJI app. Done.
For DJI Avinox M2 & M2S
Avinox Calc turns your weight, your legs and your routes into three numbers per mode — and tells you whether the battery gets you home before it gets dark.
Two tabs and a drop zone. That's the whole app.
Assist level, Max Power and Max Torque for ECO, AUTO, TRAIL and TURBO — sized on your weight, cadence and power. Type them into the DJI app. Done.
Drop a .gpx or .kml: energy verdict with a reserve, grades, climbs and descents, a map coloured by slope, and the surface composition — filled by hand, or with one click from OpenStreetMap.
Drop the bike's .proto recordings: real Wh/km, drive efficiency from the battery drop, map and sensor graphs. From then on every estimate is yours.
Three steps. The third one is optional, but it's where it gets good.
Motor, battery, your weight and the bike's, cadence and the power you can hold. No idea? Pick a riding style.
Open the DJI Avinox app, edit each mode, type level, power and torque. The values already sit on the app's 5 Nm / 50 W steps.
Recordings calibrate it on your real consumption. Routes get a verdict before you leave, not halfway up the climb.
Real situations, real screens. The numbers below come from the app itself.
“ECO feels like pushing a fridge. TURBO feels like being fired from a cannon.”
Result: modes that follow your legs, with Max Torque sized for a 60 RPM climb, not for a flat café ride.
“My friend says it's fine. My friend also said the last one was ‘mostly flat’.”
.gpx.Result: an honest verdict with a range, not a single hopeful number — and, when it's tight, a ROUTE RESERVE mode to stretch the last part.

Usable: 680 Wh of an 800 Wh pack, 15% reserve kept
“The battery went from 95% to 60%. Is that good? Is that bad? Is it the cheese sandwich?”
cloud_ride_rec_*.proto files from your phone (see the questions below).Result: your real consumption. The Tuner and every route estimate switch to it, on the kind of ground you actually ride.
“I typed 200 W because it sounded athletic. My recordings say 123.”
Result: levels that match your legs, not your ego. Nobody else sees the number. Promise.
We'd rather tell you than have the battery tell you.
Your rides' consumption, the drive efficiency from the battery drop, distance from the bike's odometer.
Ranges, runtimes and route energy — always with a margin. Uncalibrated, expect ±15–35%. A mode you never recorded is a projection.
It doesn't talk to the bike: you type the numbers in the DJI app. M1 is not supported. And it can't do the pedalling. Yet.
Short answers here. The full guide is the Knowledge Base inside the app — the ? in the header.
.proto recordings? On Android, in Android/data/com.avinox.ride/files/ebike/data/ — a folder file managers hide. Copy it over USB, or with the adb pull command the app gives you. The .gpx export of the Avinox app works too, as a route.
No. Routes and recordings are read and kept on your device; only the numbers the maths needs — weights, cadence, distance, climbing, grade shares — go to the calculator, never a file or a GPS track. One exception, which you start yourself: the Read the surface from OpenStreetMap button sends the sampled coordinates of the loaded track — not the file — to OpenStreetMap for that single request, and the panel says so. Export saves everything to one file, Import brings it to another browser, Clear all data forgets it all.
On the phone, yes: open it in the browser and press Install in the header (on iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen) and it opens full screen, like an app. Offline, no: the calculations and the maps need a connection. Plan at home, ride in the woods.
The ground decides how much energy a kilometre takes; the mode decides who supplies it. Once the motor does most of the work, more assist costs little per km — you just push less. The difference shows per hour: TURBO climbs faster and empties the battery sooner.
Avinox M2 and M2S, with the FS600, FP700, FS800, RS600 and RS800 packs. The full 1500 W Boost of the M2S needs the FP700 or the RS800 — the app knows.
Two minutes for the first setup. The hills will still be there.
